Bob White, Chief Commercial Officer

Bob White is chief commercial officer for Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. He retained the same role previously held at Cedar Fair, L.P., since 2023. In this role, Bob oversees the company’s marketing, analytic and work force planning teams.

Bob joined Cedar Fair in 2018. He previously served as senior vice president of Business Intelligence and regional vice president responsible for operations at eight Cedar Fair’s theme parks.

Prior to joining Cedar Fair, Bob served as chief operating officer at Village Roadshow Theme Parks, from 2011 until 2018. In this role, he oversaw the company’s Australian theme parks including Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World, Sea World Resort & Waterpark, Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast, Wet’n’Wild Sydney, Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country. Beginning in 2017, Bob’s responsibilities were expanded to include Village’s parks and future developments in China including Wet n’ Wild Haikou and Lionsgate Entertainment World near Macau. After joining Village Roadshow in 2008, Bob served as GM of the Movie World Business Unit and VRTP Marketing, and also headed marketing for the company’s entire Theme Park group, including Wet’n ‘Wild parks in Hawaii and Phoenix.

Bob began his theme park career in 1977 at Carowinds, then owned by Paramount, where through his tenure at the park was promoted through the ranks from his starting job of seasonal ride associate to manager of Promotions and Advertising. He was later promoted to VP of marketing at Kings Island, at the time Paramount’s flagship park, as well as Paramount’s Great America park in Santa Clara, California. In 2006, Bob returned to Carowinds where he became GM of the Charlotte, North Carolina park until it was sold to Cedar Fair in 2006.
